Durham Mennonite Church is focused on worshiping God, following Jesus, and celebrating the harmony of the Holy Spirit given us to share together as people of God’s kingdom.

God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as communities of grace, joy and peace, so that God’s healing and hope flow through us to the world. We support and build up one another for God’s mission.

DMC welcomes those exploring faith to ask questions among us, and to join us in seeking answers in the way of Jesus.

DMC invites those who are tired of a consumer Christianity, entertainment worship, and God-and-country theology to explore the path of the real Jesus in an outpost of his new community of all races, nationalities, and conditions of people.

At DMC, children and families have always been important. We offer “Gather ‘Round” curriculum in Sunday School, and seek to integrate participation by youth and children into our gathered worship of God.  Families are welcomed, celebrated and supported.

We also nurture supportive relationships in our faith-family, and a faith to feed the mind as well as the spirit.
